About Me

Lucia Cheng, MD is board certified in Psychiatry and Lifestyle Medicine, and is an internationally-recognized expert in Perinatal/Reproductive Psychiatry. She has also had additional Integrative Psychiatry training and maintains a holistic whold-body philosophy in her practice.

Dr. Cheng is a member of the American Telemedicine Association (ATA), Marcé of North America (MONA) and Postpartum Support International (PSI), and has completed the PSI Perinatal Mental Health certification training. In addition, Dr. Cheng currently serves on the board of directors of the International Society of Reproductive Psychiatrists (ISRP) and is a volunteer expert consultant for the PSI Prescriber Consult Line. Dr. Cheng loves working with women in the pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, and post-partum stages of their lives, and especially enjoys doing pre-conception consultations with women already on psychiatric medications and planning pregnancy. Dr. Cheng also enjoys working with the video gaming community as she is an avid gamer herself.
